this series was focused on the mood of discovering the notes and drawings of a field scientist; using vintage organizer paper as a backdrop creates a found aesthetic, and an interesting contrast between the formality of an oil painting and the casual aspect of organizer & butcher paper.

*nOTE some of the oil from the oil paints have bled into the organizer paper, this is on all available pieces, a characteristic of using oil paints on observant paper and not a flaw.
