…my obsession with curiosities including all things nautical, shapes many of the subjects in my paintings, a “found” aesthetic is what i aim for in every piece i do.. a nautilus is something that has always been a favorite of mine and this is the first i’ve ever painted. this is an original acrylic painting on an antique italian borghese plaster plaque frame. note there are small imperfections due to the nature of it’s age and all part of the character of this piece. stand not included.
