vintage snail + lucite base

…great detail on this snail, not sure if it is ceramic or chalkware, or white clay but the detail and color is amazing! has a lucite base.
note: looks to have been repaired quite well once, on the left eye, hardly noticeable in person. and a few surface scuffs as visible in the photos.
approx: 4” x 2.5” x 2.5” (and base is 3” x 3” - they are not attached)
